Overview:
Cotyledon undulata, commonly known as Silver Ruffles, is a dramatic and sculptural succulent admired for its thick, powdery silver-grey leaves with beautifully ruffled edges. Its unique form and soft colouring make it a standout feature in any indoor plant or succulent collection.
Hardy and low maintenance, this plant thrives with minimal care and is well suited to both beginners and experienced plant enthusiasts. Its bold texture makes it equally striking as a standalone feature or in mixed succulent arrangements.
Care and Growth:
Cotyledon undulata prefers bright, indirect light and will tolerate full sun once gradually acclimatised. A bright, sunny windowsill encourages compact growth and enhances leaf colour.
Water using the “soak and dry” method, ensuring the soil dries out fully between watering. Reduce watering during the winter months when growth slows. Overwatering should be avoided, as this can lead to root rot.
